While praised for its impressive sound design and graphics, it also had many drawbacks, such as the lack of a save option mid-game and the lack of multiplayer features. Project IGI 1 was released in December 2000 and upon its entry, the game received mixed reviews. It is a first-person strategy video game developed by Innerloop Studios and published by Eidos Interactive. The IGI Project was first released in North America as The IGI Project 1: I Go In.
